New Culture center in Samarkand
Opening ceremony of a new national cultural center, created on the initiative of the Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan” took place in Samarkand.

The activities of the Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan” being undertaken in this direction deserve special praise.

The new national cultural center, put into operation on the eve of the 21st anniversary of the independence of our country was built taking into account modern requirements and national peculiarities. All the necessary conditions for carrying out of round table conversations, educational seminars and trainings have been created here.

The regional offices of the Republican Public Association Women’s Committee, Forum of socially responsible citizens of Uzbekistan, Fund of Mehr nuri and youth initiatives center Kelajak ovozi are also operating at the center.

A meeting with the participation of members and activists of public council of the youth initiatives center Kelajak ovozi, as well as with talented young people and rewarding ceremony of the winners of regional stages of the contest “Kelajak ovozi” was held at the new center.

Gulnora Karimova, the chairperson of the board of trustees of the Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan” and others took part in the event and made a speech.

This year, more than 6,200 boys and girls demonstrated their skills in the regional stages. 1230 participants have won in the qualifying events of the competition in such directions like architecture and design, information technologies, rationalization proposals and technical development, traditional and fine arts, literature and journalism, have once again shown their ability in the regional stage. The best 45 of them got right to take part in the republican stage of the contest.

At the event, the winners of the contest were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.

Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of products of craftsmen, participants of the contest “Woman of the year” and entrepreneurs was held. The most active participants of the Forum of socially responsible citizens of Uzbekistan took certificates for preferential credits.
